- An undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of at least 3 years of study (it must include courses equal to at least 1/2 years of full-time studies in a subject relevant to the programme you applied for)

Specific entry requirements
The Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT) establishes minimal requirements that vary based on the home nation of each student. You should look at the GSU-list, a Norwegian database that contains country-specific data.
For instance:
Students from India must take an English test as well as two other certificates attesting to their academic education.
Nigerian students do not need to take an English test, but they do need to have Senior School Certificates in six courses (obligatory English, Mathematics, and Science), as well as one other certificate.
A National Senior Certificate is all that is required of South African pupils.
Students from the United States must have a high school diploma plus one year of university or college studies in academic disciplines, or three Advanced Placement Tests with a grade of at least 3.

A General Certificate of Education with at least three A Levels or a Cambridge Pre-U Diploma (3 Principal Disciplines + Global Perspective and Research) or a mix of A Levels and Cambridge Pre-U Principal Subjects in three subjects is required for English students.
