Some courses and programs work through UCAS for graduate and postgraduate admissions, but the majority need you to apply directly to the university or college. You must ensure that you meet the entrance requirements for the degree you choose to pursue.
Each study level has its own set of criteria. The prerequisites correspond to the academic skills required to complete your chosen course. UCAS may inquire about completed or ongoing qualifications, which can be expressed in an international equivalent to the UK’s GCSE and A Level system.
If you’re a graduate student and can’t find your institution or course requirements in the UCAS system, go to the university or college’s website to learn more about the application process for your planned course.
Personal statement
A personal statement is frequently requested by universities to distinguish you from other applicants. If you’re applying as an international student, we recommend noting in your personal statement your reasons for wanting to study in the UK.
